How we’re paid
Advertising disclosure
Broadband for Schools is free to use. It’s paid for by a few banner ads, shown only if you accept ads cookies.
Banner ads
Some pages carry up to two banner ads from 5od, a small ad service run by the owner of this site. They’re for shops and brands in the Awin affiliate network, chosen to suit the page, not you. Each one is labelled as an advertisement. If you buy something after clicking one, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Ads only load if you accept ads cookies; see how ads and cookies work here. Because many of our readers work in schools, advertisers of alcohol, gambling, adult products, vaping and foods high in fat, salt or sugar are blocked on this site.
Affiliate links
We don’t use affiliate links in our guides at the moment. If we ever add one, it will be marked as sponsored in the page code and explained on this page.
The supplier directory
Listings in our supplier directory are free. No company pays to be listed, to move up or to have anything removed, and we don’t earn anything when you contact a supplier. The list is in alphabetical order.
What ads don’t change
Ads never change what our guides say. We don’t accept payment to include, exclude or rank anything. Broadband for Schools is an independent guide. We are not a broker, a reseller or a supplier, and we are not connected to the Department for Education, any local authority or any provider.
